Vinous Neal Martin - 12 Dec 23
The 2019 Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru has a wonderful bouquet of vibrant brambly red fruit, crushed stone, and a light oyster shell influence. The palate is medium-bodied with pure red fruit, good freshness and salinity and impressive tension, with a seductive combination of intensity and elegance on the finish. This has a sense of completeness, plus unerring mineralité. What a brilliant Latricières-Chambertin from Xavier Horiot. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.
